Teenage Diaries producer Joe Richman gives tape recorders to young people around the country to document their lives. 17-year-old Frankie Lewchuk lives with his parents, his brother and two sisters in Mentone, Alabama. Mentone is a small town on Lookout Mountain in the southern Appalachians. In his first diary, Welcome Home, Dad, Frankie chronicled his father's return home from prison.
